COMEDIAN and television host Vic Sotto revealed that his greatest fear was losing his present girlfriend Pia Guanio.
Vic made this revelation in a one-on-one interview Sunday with Pia herself on the farewell episode of the GMA-7 showbiz talk show S-Files.
When asked by Pia to complete the sentence, “I confess ang aking ultimate fear ay...”
Vic answered, “Mawala ka sa buhay ko... No explanation needed. It's self-explanatory.”
The couple admitted their relationship late last year in the same talk show, which Pia co-hosts. Both met on the noontime show “Eat Bulaga,” which they co-host.
Furthermore, Vic said that the secret to his present success was “pagmamamahal..sa trabaho.”
“Kasi para sa akin at sa lahat ng tao, kung ano man ang trabaho mo—ke showbiz o hindi—importante na mahal mo ang iyong trabaho. Doon ka magiging successful, e, pag enjoy ka sa trabaho mo,” Vic said.
Vic also stated that his biggest challenge was to be a good father.
“I always tried being a good father, but I know I'm not an ideal father. Marami akong pagkukulang sa mga anak ko,” Vic said. He has children with actress Dina Bonnevie, Coney Reyes, and Angela Luz.
Oyo and Danica, Vic’s children with Dina, have become successful actors. Vicco, his son with Coney, and Paulina, his daughter with Angela, have led private lives. Paulina is an aspiring junior golfer.
Vic, now celebrating his ‘ti-three’ birthday said he loved being in the showbiz industry “more than half of my life. I started when I was 16 years old, at ngayon na ti-three na ako, so matagal-tagal na rin.”
