Cristine Reyes reveals that she is both excited and nervous about her upcoming soap series, Eva Fonda, 16. The TV adaptation of the 1976 Alma Moreno starrer is her biggest break to date since she entered showbiz.

Ara Mina’s younger sister admits that she feels a lot of pressure with Eva Fonda being her first starring role in a TV series. But her worries eventually dissipated during a staff meeting when all the members of the cast and crew—especially directors Frasco Mortiz and Jon Red--pledged their support.

Jason Abalos and Joross Gamboa will play Cristine’s leading men. Also in the cast are Jean Saburit, Baron Geisler, Janna Garcia, and Princess Ryan.
